On the Forum

"That Bicyclist is Correct, Sir" - It doesn't happen much but a bike
cop did say exactly that to the driver he caught blocking a rather
surprised Bill from the Bike Box on Halsted and Clybourn.
...In Defense of a Boulevard Bike Lane - Angry neighbors gather to
discuss the controversial Marshall Blvd Bike Lane with the alderman,
CDOT, and ATA. H' and others sum it up as a fiasco. Dan has detailed
report here.
... How Risky is Bike Riding in Chicago? Ken writes that WBEZ's Curious
City asked, but didn't really answer, the question Wednesday night. A
big 'ole waste of air-time or the start of a long overdue discussion?
What are Your Biggest Pet Peeves as a Woman Cyclist? ATA's Jason
launches a (hopefully) Gals-Only discussion of everything from sexist
bike mechanics to aggressively misogynist drivers.
What Should CPD Enforce? - Given limited CPD resources, how should they
prioritize bike-related traffic "situations"? Skip throws out a few
possibilities that come to mind. What do YOU think?
